What the heck happened to this hockey section during the offseason?

so i was just looking threw questions and there is over a dozen that have nothing to do with hockey, what happened? who cares about the jonas brothers and people in 7th grade makeing out. take those questions elsewhere. this is hockey

besides the obvious red wings, who do you think has the best chance to win the cup this year?|||It's a yahoo glitch. Any question with the %26amp;, %26lt;, %26gt; symbols (and a couple more, i can't really remember) are put in this section. The asker has the option to change the section, but most people are either too lazy, or just retarded.





Anyways, I think the Sharks or the Canadiens have the best chance other than the wings. The Sharks are big, tough, fast and can score in bunches. The Canadiens have no real holes in their lineup. They will probably be in the top 5 teams for goals. Probably the fastest and most skilled team in the league. I expect a Wings/Sharks vs. Canadiens for the finals.|||yea. i was thinking the same thing about the spam in this section. but i haven't been here the whole offseason i deleted my account and i've just gotten a new one. but anyway, i'd like to think that the flyers would get the cup this year but right now it's feeling like an impossibility to me because of the trades that were made. but i'm still hopeful for philly to get at least to the conference finals like last year but i'm losing hope. i don't really have a pick for the cup this year. i'm just going to wait and see how it all plays out.|||I haven't read any previous answers to this question so apologies for repeated data.





It got quite boring after the Good Reporting Status Trolls fed on our cohesive community and some of us Regulars left - some permanently.





Since then, the geniuses at Yahoo FUBAR HQ decided to update the entire site which resulted in miscategorized questions. This category hasn't been the only one afflicted.





Of course it is too much to expect the Red Bull-addled crowd to stop and make sure the auto selector has chosen the correct category before submitting their question.





If the Hab's dust themselves off, they should be the winner. The Flyers? I won't even go there.....|||Believe it or not, this is a drastic improvement. Yahoo had a bug where any question with an ampersand (%26amp;) was automatically routed here, and of course idiots don't think to change the category, or are to dumb to know how.





There were days where there might be 5-10 hockey questions in the first 3 pages.





Yeah, you can't complain...|||This has been going on for quite a while. It is about lazy people and Yahoo's glitch. Homes found out awhile back that appearently any question containing the %26amp; symbol is automatically recommended for the hockey section. Well lazy people don't pay any attention to the recommended question part and just place it where Yahoo suggests.|||We were attacked by the Yahoo glitch and curse of the ampersand and symbols. This is better then it was . It has been like this since August. You should know some people also do not look where they are posting.


Hockey answer. Besides the Wings, In the West I see San Jose as very good and in the East I see Montreal as a decent possibility as are the Pens. But over all the Wings will be tough again this year |||I just came back too and noticed the plethora of ridiculous, incoherent, and non-hockey questions.





Penguins and Ducks are also expected to contend, but the season just started.|||LOL YE I HAVE LOGGED IN AFTER A WHILE AND WOW... PPL ASKING HOW DO U MAKE HEARTS WITH UR KEY BOARD LMAO RIGHT NOW EVERYONE HAS AN EQUAL CHANCE OF WINNING I GUESS U CANT REALLY SAY FOR SURE 100% WHO IS GONNA WIN IT JUST STARTED LIKE LAST WEEK I THINK =P|||HAHA yea.


And Id say the Rangers, Flames, Candadiens, Penguins, umm, almost any playoff contender in the west has a solid chance.|||I don't know but I'm going to report as much as I can. You guys should do that to.|||Our section was sent to a MONTEL WILLIAMS show where we all got makeovers.
